For fashion designer and beauty icon Victoria Beckham, Los Angeles has always felt like home. It’s where she and her family spent years while her husband, David Beckham, played for the LA Galaxy. So, hosting the launch of Victoria Beckham Beauty’s first full-coverage complexion product in collaboration with Augustinus Bader in Hollywood was a homecoming long in the making—and worth every moment.
The exclusive celebration took place in a stunning, high-design estate perched in the hills, offering sweeping views of LA’s glittering skyline. The setting featured lush green marble, spacious living areas perfect for intimate conversations, and a state-of-the-art kitchen serving champagne alongside gourmet canapés. The rooftop deck, adorned with palm trees and flickering pillar candles, added a magical touch to the evening.
As the gracious host, Beckham welcomed her friends and family to this one-night transformation of a Hollywood mansion into a VBB beauty Maison. Guests, clad in stylish ready-to-wear pieces, eagerly tested the new concealer, which marks a significant expansion for the beauty brand. Katia Beauchamp, CEO of Victoria Beckham Beauty, shared her enthusiasm with Vogue: “The integrity of the product is very refreshing. The concealer was Victoria’s dream. She really wanted a tool that brightened but also offered coverage. A product that was working overtime.”
Upstairs, the onyx and green marble bathroom became the site of a shade-matching party, where guests enjoyed a luxurious experience filled with the sultry scent of 21:50 Reverie. VBB specialists showcased the new concealer’s capabilities, adding a hint of shimmer highlighter and blush to each look. “Victoria has a point of view that is not fad-driven, which sets her brand and purpose apart in the beauty industry,” Beauchamp noted.
The star of the night was undoubtedly the concealer, designed to deliver results within six weeks. Available in 16 shades and featuring a precise brush applicator, it promises both brightening and plumping benefits. “Ultimately, I’m always creating what I want for myself and I wanted complexion that treated,” Beckham shared. “A lot of people have done it, but I wanted to do it right, and no one can treat skin like Professor Bader’s TFC8.” With its sleek VBB packaging and a nod to the partnership in the form of Augustinus blue on the cap, the new product embodies the brand’s ethos of combining luxury and efficacy.
“I never put anything out unless I truly believe it is the best in class,” Beckham emphasized. “Our clinical trials were off the charts, our sales have blown our minds, and I think we are just scratching the surface because people can really see a difference. The more you use it, the less you need.”
The event was a perfect blend of style, luxury, and innovation, marking a milestone in the VBB journey while reminding Beckham of her roots in the City of Angels. As guests mingled beneath the LA stars, it was clear that Victoria Beckham’s latest launch was more than just a beauty event—it was a celebration of her return to a place that still feels like home.
