(Crewe, 27th February 2024) – Bentley Motors, in partnership with Dezer Development, has declared the official groundbreaking of Bentley Residences Miami, marking the inception of the premier Bentley-branded residential edifice, situated along an exclusive oceanfront stretch at 18401 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. Featuring four innovative car elevators and glass-encased sky garages showcasing automobiles akin to works of art in each of the 216 private abodes, the deluxe condominium will ascend 62 stories high, affording sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. Embodying the prestige and legacy of the brand, Bentley Residences will evoke sophistication and refinement, establishing a new benchmark for resort-style coastal living, accentuated by five-star hospitality and service. Anticipated completion is by late 2027.
“Gearing up for the commencement of Bentley Residences marks a significant milestone for the project, propelling us closer to realizing our vision,” remarked Gil Dezer, President of Dezer Development. “We are thrilled to introduce a completely elevated residential experience to Sunny Isles Beach and anticipate further collaboration with Bentley Motors to deliver a peerless project.”
Conceived by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Bentley Motors, Bentley Residences will seamlessly incorporate Bentley’s quintessential design elements into its architecture and interiors. For instance, the iconic diamond-quilted motif adorning Bentley door panels will be mirrored on the tower’s exterior through diamond-shaped glass panels meticulously positioned to refract natural light, rendering the façade resplendent in sunlight. These patterns and silhouettes will echo throughout the structure, including diamond-embossed stone in the primary bathrooms and diamond-shaped floor tiles adorning the lobby.
Christophe Georges, President and CEO of Bentley Motors, Inc., stated, “We are delighted to commemorate this pivotal milestone in the development of Bentley Residences Miami. A testament to our commitment to exceptional design, the development will create a living environment that encapsulates the very essence of the Bentley brand.”
At the core of Bentley Residences lies the patented car elevator, ferrying both vehicle and occupants from the road directly to a resident’s doorstep in a seamless motion. Dubbed the Dezervator in honor of its progenitor, Gil Dezer, it offers an unparalleled lifestyle centered around exclusivity and privacy for buyers. This innovation enables the incorporation of three- and four-car sky garages within each residence and provides secure, convenient storage for private car collections. Additionally, these sky garages offer optional EV charging facilities and extra space for storage and small motorized vehicles such as jet skis and motorcycles.
The private residences at Bentley Residences are as distinctive and considerate as the car elevator. Embracing the concept of indoor-outdoor living, they feature expansive private outdoor spaces with unhindered views extending to the shoreline. Each individual balcony will include a private heated swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and spacious living area engineered to withstand strong winds, ensuring residents can effortlessly ignite a candle even 30 floors above ground. This ingenuity extends indoors to the home interiors. State-of-the-art kitchens boast Gaggenau appliances, Italian-designed cabinetry, and motorized doors that conceal the space with a simple gesture, while primary bathrooms double as home spas, featuring private saunas, concealed TVs behind mirrors, and outdoor showers in select residences. Similar to the exterior, the interiors incorporate subtle references to the Bentley brand, including the iconic diamond motif, chrome finishes, and distinctive textured door handles, knobs, and pulls, implemented in small yet impactful ways that will resonate with Bentley enthusiasts.
Occupying 2.4 acres, Bentley Residences is nestled along one of Miami’s most picturesque beaches, offering residents a year-round resort-inspired lifestyle. The tower represents the exciting future of the former Thunderbird Hotel site. The property will boast a lushly landscaped beach club and oceanfront pool deck, complete with food and beverage service, cabanas, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a 20,000-square-foot array of amenities including a whiskey bar, cigar lounge, wellness spa, cinema, and oceanfront beauty salon. Four-time James Beard award-winning celebrity chef Todd English will curate the menu and dining experience for an exclusive private restaurant, which will also offer catering, demonstrations, and food and wine pairings to residents.
Prices commence at $5.6 million, with sales and marketing managed in collaboration between Dezer Platinum Realty and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
