“I looked at all the big wedding designers, and I wasn’t really finding anything off the rack that spoke to me,” she explains. “Jackson was able to help me bring my vision to life. I’m super happy that I did custom, because with social media and everything, you’re constantly seeing the same dresses.” After the ceremony, she changed into a Vivienne Westwood dress, followed by two vintage after-party looks, paying homage to her love for unique vintage fashion. “I have a vintage brand, so I definitely wanted to incorporate some vintage,” she adds.
Kayla and Dan’s wedding was a night to remember, lasting until 3 A.M. The ceremony and cocktail hour took place in separate areas of the villa’s sprawling grounds, while dinner and dancing were held inside a glass tent that allowed guests to enjoy the stunning lake views. The after-party moved indoors, where the festivities continued late into the night. Guests enjoyed a traditional Italian antipasto station during cocktail hour, accompanied by an Italian folk trio that set a festive mood. “It was a pretty small wedding, and everyone there was super special to me and my husband, either close friends or family.”I think the best part was being with everyone who came from far away to spend the weekend with us,” Kayla says.
Their wedding at Lake Como was a celebration of love, fashion, and the magic of bringing loved ones together in a place that was very important to the bride. The venue was beautiful, and the mood was cozy. Everything about the event, from the dress to the setting, worked together to make it a weekend they’ll never forget.
