The groundbreaking ceremony for Sofitel Dublin Airport marks an exciting step toward elevating luxury hospitality in Ireland. This new Sofitel, a collaboration between Accor and the Arora Group, is set to open in late 2026 with 412 guest rooms, offering a full suite of luxurious amenities directly connected to Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.

This Sofitel will bring French elegance and sophistication, with features including an all-day dining restaurant, a tea salon, and an exclusive sky bar with views of the airport and surrounding landscape. Additional amenities will include an executive lounge, a fitness center, a ballroom, and extensive meeting spaces, positioning the hotel as both a haven for travelers and a premier venue for events.

With over 31 million annual passengers, Dublin Airport is a critical hub, and this addition aims to provide a high-caliber accommodation option to support Ireland’s growing tourism sector. Sébastien Bazin, CEO & Chairman of Accor, emphasized Ireland’s appeal as a vibrant market, while Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, highlighted the cultural connection between France and Ireland that this hotel will celebrate.

Surinder Arora, Founder & Chairman of the Arora Group, expressed pride in this venture, which represents the group’s first development outside the UK. Kenny Jacobs, CEO of daa, praised the project’s potential to enhance passenger experiences and generate jobs for the local community, underscoring its significance for both travelers and the Dublin area.

Set to open in 2026, Sofitel Dublin Airport promises a luxurious gateway that will redefine the standards of airport hotels, blending convenience with refined elegance.
