In 2025, watchmakers including Rolex, IWC and Grand Seiko re-imagined the bracelet not just for style but as a part of the timepiece’s identity. From titanium links to ceramic construction, these ten new designs underline how the bracelet is becoming central in luxury watchmaking.
At Rolex the Perpetual 1908 model introduced the new “Settimo” bracelet seven rows of polished links that hug the wrist and reflect light like jewellery. The Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller followed with a “Flat Jubilee” bracelet featuring ceramic inserts and a snug case-to-bracelet fit. Meanwhile, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso Tribute line launched a Milanese mesh bracelet crafted from 16 metres of gold wire in a fabric-like weave. The brand also released the Rendez-Vous line with an entirely new lozenge-shaped link bracelet used in its Night & Day and Moon models, boasting over 200 components plus a tool-free interchange system.
Grand Seiko’s Evolution 9 Collection Spring Drive UFA SLGB003 brought a titanium bracelet engineered with micro-adjustment for comfort and balanced link proportions. IWC’s Ingenieur Automatic 42 featured a fully integrated black ceramic bracelet merging case and links for a seamless look and feel. Piaget’s Sixtie introduced a high-polished five-row bracelet with interlaced trapeze-shaped links channeling 1960s elegance. Tag Heuer revived its Beads-of-Rice bracelet on the Carrera Chronograph, combining vintage styling with modern articulation. Tudor’s Pelagos Ultra in titanium added a diver’s extension micro-adjust clasp and luminous indicator on its reworked bracelet. Finally, Louis Erard’s 2340 became its first model with a fully integrated bracelet, five-link titanium-steel hybrid design with hand-bevelled components.
