PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort is enhancing the winter dining scene this January through its Taste of Luxury Series, an exclusive culinary program that brings internationally acclaimed Michelin-starred chefs to Park City for intimate dining events and interactive cooking experiences.
As part of the ongoing series, guests are invited to take part in events hosted by Chef Diego Briones, the owner and executive chef of Vienna-based restaurant Z’Som. Chef Briones will lead experiences on January 23 and January 25, sharing his globally influenced approach to modern South American cuisine. His culinary background spans more than 15 years, with professional experience across Chile, Peru, Canada, Spain, China, the Philippines, and France, all deeply rooted in his Chilean heritage.
Deer Valley Resort Vice President of Food & Beverage Jacob Musyt said January’s lineup offers guests a rare opportunity to engage with chefs of international distinction in a uniquely personal setting.
“January is full of truly exceptional dining moments through Deer Valley’s Taste of Luxury Series,” Musyt said. “We’re honored to welcome Chef Briones, who will share his internationally inspired dishes, culinary philosophy, and hands-on techniques with our guests. This series gives food lovers the chance to meet Chef Briones in person, enjoy a thoughtfully curated multi-course meal, and learn scratch-cooking methods directly from a world-renowned chef.”

Guests may choose between two curated experiences featuring Chef Briones, each offering a different way to engage with his cuisine and culinary expertise.
On January 23, Deer Valley will host a VIP meet-and-greet reception followed by an intimate dinner at Silver Lake Lodge’s Bald Mountain Room. At 7:00 p.m., guests will enjoy a five-course Michelin-level dinner crafted by Chef Briones. The experience includes opportunities to interact with the chef, Deer Valley’s director of beverage, and the resort’s executive chef. Tickets are priced at $285 for the VIP reception and dinner, while dinner-only tickets are available for $235.
On January 25, Chef Briones will lead a hands-on cooking class at The Brass Tag beginning at 2:30 p.m. This immersive session allows participants to cook alongside Chef Briones and Deer Valley’s culinary team while learning scratch-cooking techniques and signature recipes. The $285 experience includes lunch, wine pairings, a custom apron, recipes, and special take-home gifts.
Limited Tickets Remain for Chef Enrico Bartolini Experiences

A limited number of tickets are still available for earlier Taste of Luxury Series events featuring Chef Enrico Bartolini, scheduled from January 9 through January 11. Chef Bartolini is one of Italy’s most celebrated culinary figures, holding a record-breaking 14 Michelin stars across his career. He operates a prestigious three-Michelin-star restaurant in Milan, the city’s first to achieve that distinction since 1994.
VIP meet-and-greet dinners with Chef Bartolini will take place on January 9 and 10 at Empire Canyon Lodge’s Fireside Dining Room. These evenings feature four-course menus highlighting Bartolini’s refined balance of culinary tradition and innovation. Tickets are priced at $402 for the VIP reception and dinner, or $342 for dinner only.
Chef Bartolini will also host a cooking master class on January 11 at 1:00 p.m., focusing on the art of fresh, handmade pasta. The $390 class offers participants an in-depth look at Italian culinary craftsmanship under the guidance of one of Italy’s most accomplished chefs.
