US: Independent hotel brand Hideaway Inns has opened its second New England property with the launch of Hideaway Inn Mt. Snow, located at the base of Mount Snow Resort in Vermont.
The 27-room property is operated by Revival Hotels, the brand’s management and technology platform.
Hideaway Inn Mt. Snow features a range of communal spaces designed to support social connection and flexibility. These include The Living Room, equipped with a TV projector, vinyl records and board games; The Commons, an adults-only lounge; The Hideout, a family room with a dedicated children’s zone; and The Chill, a wellness area offering a sauna and hot tub.
Additional amenities include coworking space and a coffee bar. Guests also receive access to the HI Innsider Guide, a mobile web app providing curated local recommendations, trail information and destination tips. Revival Hotels’ proprietary technology enables a fully mobile guest journey, removing the need for a traditional front desk and allowing guests to check in via their devices.
Saxton Sharad, founding partner and CEO of Hideaway Inns, said the Mount Snow opening represents an important step in the brand’s growth. He noted that the property retains its original mid-century character while incorporating Hideaway Inns’ design-led approach and emphasis on ease and functionality.
Sharad added that Mount Snow is a popular destination where accommodation offerings have not always reflected the expectations of modern travellers. He said the brand aims to address this gap through thoughtful design, intuitive technology and shared spaces that enhance the guest experience. With locations at Mt. Sunapee and Mt. Snow now open, the company is progressing plans for further expansion.
Hideaway Inn Lenox, Massachusetts, is scheduled to open in early 2026, followed by Hideaway Inn Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. The brand is targeting a portfolio of more than 25 properties over the next five years.
