Audi Tradition has unveiled the “Anniversary Dates 2025” booklet, a celebration of the brand’s most significant milestones and achievements. This commemorative collection highlights 27 pivotal moments in Audi’s diverse and innovative history, spanning from groundbreaking car launches to record-setting feats. The booklet serves as a tribute to Audi’s legacy of engineering excellence and forward-thinking design.
Among the anniversaries commemorated is the 25th anniversary of the Audi A2, a compact car that revolutionized its segment. Launched in 2000, the A2 featured an aluminum body, making it light, aerodynamic, and economical. Despite its polarizing design and limited sales success, the A2 has since gained a cult following and is now a prized collector’s item.
Another significant milestone is the 60th anniversary of the first post–World War II Audi, the “Auto Union Audi,” which marked a new beginning for the brand in 1965. Equipped with a four-cylinder four-stroke engine, this vehicle symbolized technological advancement and innovation. This era also saw the evolution of the brand, culminating in 1985 when the company was renamed AUDI AG.
The booklet also revisits the 90th anniversary of Auto Union’s record-breaking feat in Italy, where Hans Stuck drove the “Lucca” car to achieve a world-record speed of 326.975 km/h in February 1935.
