The upscale clothing brand will provide a selection of technologically sophisticated ready-to-wear accessories, gear, and equipment that blend cutting-edge materials with distinctive Balenciaga designs.

Balenciaga is launching practical sportswear for the first time, including snowboards, skis, poles, helmets, and equipment for hiking, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing.

In terms of clothing, the line has cargo pants and parkas constructed of membrane-bonded technical ripstop equipped with battery-saving pockets, ventilation systems, integrated snow gaiters, and ski pass holders to keep wearers warm and organized on the slopes. 

The collection also has five-pocket ski trousers in bonded stretch nylon, close-fitting fleece jackets, and jackets and vests in quilted matte nylon, all in line with the house’s signature designs. 

Blue stretch denim jeans with a waterproof fleece lining are among the technical ready-to-wear goods. They provide a pole-attachable ski backpack and a ski belt bag for increased convenience. Both are composed of water-repellent recycled nylon and have lined non-scratch goggle pockets.

The majority of the pieces come in traditional shades of black, grey, or red, with black thermal layers that include long-sleeved half-zip tops, hoodies, and fluffy knits in addition to mink-style fake fur and thick molleton, fisherman-ribbed wool, and fluffy knits.

Accessory options include a ribbed knit beanie with folding sunglasses that bring a touch of luxury to the slopes and cushioned gloves made of sturdy ripstop that can be firmly fastened to jacket sleeves.
