Fendi is spreading out in Miami
The expanded Fendi boutique in the Miami Design District represents a fusion of Roman heritage and Miami’s vibrant culture. Spanning over 6,700 square feet across two levels, this flagship store embodies Fendi’s sophisticated aesthetic while embracing the city’s energy through its pastel palette and architectural design.
The facade’s four grand arches pay homage to Roman architecture, with three-dimensional glass bricks mimicking ocean waves. Inside, the boutique combines elements like geometric marble flooring inspired by Roman temples, hand-tufted carpets resembling the Tevere River, and custom furnishings from prominent designers. The store’s ambiance seamlessly blends ribbed travertine, walnut wood, and metallic accents to create a warm yet luxurious setting.
The first floor houses women’s leather goods and accessories, while the second floor features menswear and an array of design-forward furniture. A private VIC area with gradient curtains, stainless-steel walls, and bespoke Fendi Casa pieces adds an exclusive touch.
The boutique reflects Fendi’s growth since its original opening in 2015, doubling its space to meet rising demand. Silvia Venturini Fendi, the creative force behind iconic designs like the Baguette bag, continues to highlight the brand’s evolution. Her collaboration with London designer Lewis Kemmenoe for the Design Miami Fair underscores Fendi’s commitment to innovation, with the Aenigma collection showcasing the interplay of organic materials, Roman influences, and contemporary design.
Fendi’s Miami store is a testament to its ability to merge tradition with modernity, offering a dynamic luxury experience in one of the U.S.’s most creative cities.
