Originating from Turin, Perosino commenced his incumbency in Modena on January 8th. With over two decades of experience in the global automotive and luxury domains, the Italian executive’s designation underscores his deep-seated commitment to this domain, particularly to high-performance automobiles.
His professional trajectory commenced at FIAT, where he assumed the role of Communications Director for Lancia back in 2001. Over the ensuing decade, he climbed the corporate ladder within the Group, ultimately attaining the position of Group Vice-President of Marketing Communications under the mentorship of Sergio Marchionne.
From 2010 to 2019, Perosino made substantial contributions to Volkswagen Group and Audi’s marketing endeavors, spearheading successful product unveilings, lauded advertising campaigns, and strategic communication endeavors.
In late 2019, he took on the mantle of Chief Commercial Officer at Lamborghini, overseeing a global team tasked with sales, post-sales services, dealer operations, and more.
His most recent role, before joining Maserati, was as the Chief Marketing Officer at ITA Airways, where he concluded his tenure in 2023. Giovanni Perosino will helm Marketing & Communications under the leadership of Maserati Brand CEO Davide Grasso in his new capacity at Maserati.
