Glasswing International Honors Howard G. Buffett and Valentina Ferrer at Its 10th Annual Gala

“Celebrating Philanthropy and Impact: Recognizing Visionary Leaders at Glasswing International’s Milestone Gala”

Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York City, Glasswing International last night celebrated a major turning point. The event was a gathering of driven supporters and charitable hearts committed to transforming lives all throughout Latin America. Prominent personalities among them philanthropist Howard Warren Buffett, who declared a sizable $11.6 million donation from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, therefore supporting the nonprofit’s goal to improve underprivileged areas.

The dinner underlined the strong cooperation between Glasswing International and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, which has been instrumental in supporting the activities of the organization in Latin America. The foundation has given a total of $65 million since their cooperation started in 2018, encouraging public schools to become active centers of community life. These venues provide young people access to career training, mental health support, and networking prospects, therefore enabling an environment in which they can flourish.

“Central American kids may be agents for change in their home nations if we are courageous enough to believe and invest in them,” Howard G. Buffett said. His comments emphasized the need of investing in young people to release their potential, a goal Glasswing and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation have supported jointly.

The event also honored other change-makers, Valentina Ferrer, a model and businesswoman, for her commitment to helping migratory young people in New York City. She is an appropriate honoree for the occasion since her activities complement Glasswing’s goal. Ferrer also revealed a fresh partnership between Glasswing and Vibra En Alta, run under the foundation headed by her partner J Balvin, with an emphasis on mental health and education. Together since 2018, the couple underlined their common enthusiasm for bringing about good changes for young people.

Attended by about 450 people, the event was a spectacular occasion. Among them were eminent co-chairs such Jana Pasquel de Shapiro, president of Munnu The Gem Palace, Valentina Bueno Marin, executive director of the Con Cora Foundation, and Carmen Busquets, co-founder of Net-a- Porter. The evening started with a kind welcome from Glasswing’s co-founders, Celina de Sola, Ken Baker, and Diego de Sola, therefore establishing the tone for a joyous and impactful night.

With DJ Bash finishing the evening with an exuberant set, guests delighted in a dynamic environment full of inspiration and hope. Apart from commemorating ten years of Glasswing’s influence, the event strengthened the conviction that community investment can really change people’s life. Glasswing International is set to have even more impact in the years to come with the ongoing backing of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation and fresh alliances like those with Vibra En Alta.
