In the heart of Greenwich Village, The RealReal teamed up with Conservation International for a cocktail party that blended style and sustainability, celebratingy the launch of their second annual celebrity closet sale. The dress code encouraged guests to wear pieces with a story, resulting in a gathering rich with fashion history—from heirloom treasures to beloved thrift finds. Model Jacquelyn Jablonski, for instance, arrived in a vintage Ralph Lauren jacket originally thrifted by her mother, while TheRealReal President and COO Rati Sahi Levesque wore a pair of Bvlgari earrings she purchased when the company first went public.
The evening spotlighted this year’s closet sale, featuring 230 luxury pieces consigned by notable women from across fashion, social justice, journalism, and culture, including icons like Kate Moss, Julianne Moore, Parker Posey, Marisa Tomei, and Shailene Woodley. The RealReal is also making a difference with a $25,000 donation to Conservation International, emphasizing the positive impact of high-quality fashion resale on reducing waste and fighting fast fashion culture.
Guests embraced the intimate and interactive atmosphere, using a film camera to capture their unique outfits and sharing the stories behind their favorite pieces on parchment paper, adding a personal touch to the evening’s keepsakes. The party’s guest list included a mix of actors, models, and activists, like Marisa Tomei, Shailene Woodley, Isabela Ferrer, Juliana Canfield, Pat Cleveland, Alexandra Richards, Chelsea Leyland, and more, each contributing to a night where style and conversation went hand in hand.
