On April 7, 2025, The Glasshouse in New York City transformed into a vibrant nexus of creativity and ambition as the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) hosted its 88th Annual Gala. This prestigious event celebrated 160 exceptional college students—FSF Scholars and Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholars—who have demonstrated remarkable potential to innovate and lead in the fashion industry.
The evening was co-hosted by designer Christian Siriano and supermodel Coco Rocha, setting a tone of inspiration and elegance. Attendees were treated to a dynamic showcase of student portfolios, reflecting a diverse range of disciplines from design to marketing. This year’s gala honored four influential figures for their contributions to fashion and mentorship: Jerry Lorenzo, founder of Fear of God; Sara and Erin Foster, co-founders of Favorite Daughter; and Tony Spring, chairman and CEO of Macy’s. Their presence underscored the event’s commitment to bridging established success with emerging talent.

A highlight of the night was the presentation of the $25,000 Chairman’s Award to Fatmata Camara of LIM College by NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns. Camara, also a Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholar and assistant buyer at Macy’s, delivered an emotional speech, expressing gratitude to her family, college, and employer for their unwavering support.
Adding to the evening’s allure were culinary delights from Ghetto Gastro and a surprise capsule pop-up by KidSuper, infusing the gala with flavors and fashion-forward designs that resonated with the event’s youthful energy.
