Modena, November 8, 2023 – Maserati is excited to unveil MC20 Notte, the inaugural limited edition of its excellent sports car MC20, engineered for the racetrack and primed for street performance. MC20 Notte Edition pays homage to the audacious ethos that has consistently driven the Trident brand forward since its inception, tracing back to the historic moments when Maserati first entered the annals of motorsport.
The MC20, emblematic of Trident’s resurgence in the supercar domain, blending athleticism with opulence, now aligns more closely with its racing pedigree with the advent of Notte Edition, a select run of 50 units worldwide, distinguished by a design influenced by the enigmatic and potent allure of darkness. A resounding entity conceived to entice and aesthetically elevate its already remarkable V6 Nettuno engine-powered prowess.
Derived from the captivating world of racing, the Maserati Fuoriserie team collaborated with Andrea Bertolini, a Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion under the Trident banner, to craft the bodywork of MC20 Notte. Its exterior transitions from a lustrous black hue to a magnetic matte ‘nero essenza’ shade, poised to illuminate in the darkness, courtesy of Bertolini’s adept touch, transforming key elements – the Trident emblem, side symbols, and the Maserati signature – from silver to matte white gold, reigniting the brand’s illustrious motorsport heritage.
Affixed to the pavement, the 20” matte black birdcage wheels feature accents in matte white gold, while the brake calipers adorn a black hue. Inside, the MC20 Notte showcases 6-way power sport seats in Alcantara black/grey with yellow detailing. The unmistakable Trident emblem adorns the headrests, and the Alcantara sport steering wheel is embellished with carbon fiber inserts. An exclusive metal plaque commemorating the MC20 Notte Edition, accompanied by a distinctive ‘UNA DI 50’ (one of 50) symbol, is affixed between the two headrests.
“Fuoriserie, translating to ‘custom-built’ in Italian, encapsulates our Trident’s bespoke customization program, designed to craft bespoke automotive sculptures for our discerning clientele. MC20 Notte exalts the thrill of racing and the allure of the night, fusing supreme performance and Italian sophistication with a dash of nocturnal mystique. It represents the inaugural Fuoriserie limited edition of MC20, dedicated to aficionados of super sports cars and track enthusiasts,” remarked Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design.
To mark the debut of the Maserati MC20 Notte Edition, global brand ambassador and fervent MC20 enthusiast David Beckham, alongside Andrea Bertolini, take center stage in a captivating short film. In it, Beckham’s resplendent MC20 undergoes a metamorphosis into a new racing entity, streaking through the nocturnal landscape of the city and the racetrack.
Following an exclusive preview for Maserati Tridente members, MC20 Notte is now available globally. Prospective owners will be invited to partake in the exhilarating experience of Maserati on-track driving, allowing them to savor the essence of the Trident’s latest exclusive model.
