This Week in Luxury: The first electric sailing Sunreef 100 Eco, House of Dior Milan, Tiffany & Co. unveils a limited series, and more

From a solar-powered sailing catamaran to Dior’s new Milan flagship, the luxury world is unveiling major new projects across fashion, travel and yachting. Here are two of the latest developments.

Sunreef Unveils Its First Electric Sailing 100 Eco

Sunreef Yachts has introduced the Ipharra, the first electric sailing Sunreef 100 Eco, at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show.

The 94-foot catamaran is designed for quieter, lower-emission cruising, combining electric motors with solar power. More than 250 square meters of integrated “Solar Skin” cover the yacht, generating up to 49 kWp of clean energy.

The yacht was commissioned by a returning client connected with the prestigious Institut Le Rosey boarding school. Beyond private cruising, the vessel will serve as a floating educational platform, giving students the opportunity to study marine biology, ocean conservation and renewable energy while at sea.

Dior Opens a New Milan Flagship

Dior has opened the House of Dior Milan, a three-storey flagship at Via Monte Napoleone 12.

Designed by architect Peter Marino, the space brings together Milanese and Parisian influences inside a late-17th-century neoclassical building. The property also features open-air garden courtyards created by landscape architect Peter Wirtz.

The new destination offers a broad selection of Dior creations, including handbags, accessories, menswear and high jewelry.

The experience extends beyond shopping with Monsieur Dior, the flagship’s restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Enrico Bartolini. The addition gives the Milan boutique a hospitality component, turning the new address into more than a traditional retail space.

Robb Report Singapore Thought Leader: Firdaus Sani

Some histories are easy to find. Others survive in family stories, old photographs, recipes, and memories passed down from one generation to the next. For Firdaus Sani, reconnecting with his own history began during the quiet of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he found himself looking closely at what it means to be an Orang Laut (an indigenous maritime community).
