Copper & Cask Spirits has unveiled the Small Batch Series, a new line of limited-edition cask-strength whiskeys. Each whiskey combines a carefully chosen assortment of exceptional single barrels. First released as Copper & Cask Small Batch Series No. 001, this eight-year-old Bourbon was matured in Florida after each of the thirteen barrels used in its production were distilled in Indiana. This minimal release, of which there are only 2,000 bottles, is available today online in most states, in addition to having restricted availability in stores.
Copper & Cask has solely focused on single barrel choices and distinctive cask-finished releases since its founding in 2021. Nature restricts everything and bottles it at barrel-proof. Copper & Cask, a Rhode Island-based company, has produced hundreds of single barrels of Rye, High-Rye, and Bourbon in addition to unusual cask-finished bottlings and aged exceptional choices like 15-year-old Canadian whiskey. With the launch of the Small Batch Series, Copper & Cask is reaching out to a broader range of whiskey enthusiasts by providing distinctive blended bottlings from the brand, surpassing the offerings of single barrels.
“The foundation of Copper & Cask Spirits will always be single barrels,” stated Terry Lozoff, the director of spirits at Latitude Beverage, which makes Copper & Cask Spirits. However, occasionally, the whole can outweigh the sum of its components. Micro-batching and blending have always been in the plan, essential to achieving our ultimate goal. I’m excited to introduce Copper & Cask’s whiskeys to more whiskey enthusiasts throughout the nation with the debut of our Small Batch Series.
