The newest member of the Multistrada family, the Multistrada V4 RS, is built in a numbered series and has an engine adapted from the Panigale V4, the Desmosedici Stradale. With the distinct sound of the Desmosedici Stradale engine with dry clutch and Akrapovič silencer, the Multistrada V4 RS delivers impressive performance and power. The sportiest Multistrada in the family boasts a chassis with forged wheels, a single-sided aluminum swingarm, and Öhlins suspension for optimal dynamic handling and responsiveness.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS blends the recognizable and sophisticated Multistrada design with racing-specific features and technology, as is characteristic of Borgo Panigale’s sports motorcycles. The moniker RS is a nod to another Ducati motorbike built with similar design principles: the Monster S4 RS.

The dashboard graphics, key, and livery of the Multistrada V4 RS all have noticeable RS insignia. The sleek and streamlined tail created especially for this bike further enhances its faster nature. The Iceberg White livery, which draws color cues from the Desmosedici MotoGP, further emphasizes this sportier aspect of the bike.

The only bike in the Multistrada series to use the 1,103-cc Desmosedici Stradale engine is the Multistrada V4 RS. Combining the smoothness of the Multistrada with the personality and sporty features of the Panigale and Streetfighter, the V4 engine is set up to deliver a fluid power delivery curve at low rpm while also being exciting close to the limiter because of the advantages of the desmodromic valve system.

With this setup, the Desmosedici Stradale engine reaches a maximum power output of 180 horsepower at 13,500 rpm. During maintenance, the Multistrada V4 RS has to check valve clearance every 18,000 miles (30,000 kilometers).

An unusual element that highlights its sportiness and enables a weight reduction of 5.5 lb (2.5 kg) over the conventional one is the titanium sub-frame. There is a numbered series of the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS. The number is displayed on a triple clamp-applied black anodized metal plate adorned with the Italian flag.

The Multistrada V4 RS is outfitted with the sophisticated and cutting-edge technical package of the Multistrada V4 S. Among its standard features is radar technology on the front and back, which makes blind spot detection (BSD) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) possible.

Built around the Bosch inertial platform, the Multistrada V4 RS’s electronic features include Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), and four power modes (full, high, medium, and low). After being tuned for the model’s features and intended use, these systems have been combined into four riding modes: race, sport, touring, and urban.

With “Ducati Connect,” you can mirror your mobile device and watch the map navigator function on the 6.5″ TFT dashboard, exclusive to the Multistrada V4 RS, and has customized graphics. The smartphone container contains forced air circulation to facilitate this capability, keeping the phone cool during charging and prolonged usage of the navigation features.

Beginning in February 2024, the motorbike will be offered in dealerships inside the Ducati network in a single variant with standard front and rear radar in the Iceberg White color. The starting MSRP for the United States will be $37,995. The starting price for Canada will be CAD 41,995.
