To create unforgettable experiences for hotel guests and the surrounding community, Kathleen Reidenbach, Senior Vice President of marketing & Commercial, Luxury & Lifestyle Americas at IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed delight about the Winter Chalet and enhanced cozy season programming.

Inspired by the coziness of a mountain getaway, IHG’s Winter Chalet puts a unique spin on a traditional winter getaway, offering visitors a lively and engaging atmosphere. Seven hotels, including the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile, and Kimpton EPIC Hotel (Miami), have lobby areas that showcase the idea. The stunning 17-foot-tall chalet installations were designed by renowned architect Tristan Al-Haddad and included interior design by Corey Damen Jenkins.

The interior designer, Corey Damen Jenkins, emphasized the Winter Chalet design, aiming to capture the distinct characteristics of Hotel Indigo, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. The aim is to provide visitors with a cozy, welcoming environment that encourages pleasure and relaxation.

To capture the spirit of the winter season and provide the ideal soundtrack for the experience, Grammy Award-winning artist Maren Morris carefully selected musical selections for the Winter Chalet installations.

Every Winter Chalet installation has a bustling bar where residents and visitors may relax and socialize while enjoying seasonal drinks throughout the day and night. Both private buy-outs and regular programming will take place in the venues. Other IHG hotels include bar pop-ups that are reminiscent of chalets.

All of the hotels in IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle Americas network will have chalet-inspired activations available for visitors to enjoy all winter long in addition to the Winter Chalet installations.

In addition to the Chalet Turndown service in some locations, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts will launch The Chalet Table, a multisensory dining and beverage experience. A Cozy Chalet Getaway package, Suite Chalet accommodations, and distinctive chalet-themed dining experiences are all offered by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. A Winter Chalet Menu and Petit Chalet experience will be available at Hotel Indigo, in addition to several other offers at other locations. Yours Truly DC’s Mercy Me El Chalet will serve a Winter Chalet Menu from The Vignette Collection.
