During the first-ever Tokyo E-Prix, Maserati MSG Racing celebrated their victory, with Maximilian Günther taking the top spot. Günther’s performance was impressive; he placed in the top three positions in practice sessions and finished a strong second in qualifying.

In the final sprint, Günther showed incredible talent and unflinching determination as he worked through the pack. Even though he started from the second spot on the grid, he quickly moved up to the front using a cunning Attack Mode tactic to secure a commanding lead over his opponents. Günther held on to his advantage until he joyously crossed the finish line, clinching Maserati MSG Racing’s second Formula E series victory despite facing constant pressure from opponents.

Jehan Daruvala, Günther’s colleague, faced difficulties early in the race but showed incredible tenacity and resolve. Even in the face of hardship, Daruvala never wavered in his will to learn from his mistakes and improve his performance for the races ahead.

The team’s Chief Engineer, Cyril Blais, praised the group for their aggressive tactics and careful planning, which paid off in their successful run down the track. Maserati Corse Head Giovanni Sgro expressed great delight in the group’s achievements and emphasized their steadfast dedication to quality and trailblazing creativity.

The team is looking forward to continuing their momentum at the next event, the Misano E-Prix in Italy, which is being hosted in their home country.

Maserati S.p.A., Maserati MSG Racing’s parent company, also emphasized its steadfast commitment to creating remarkable cars admired for their refinement, technological prowess, and unmatched performance.
