Hyatt Hotels Corp. is expanding its luxury presence across the Americas, with Mexico emerging as a key market as the hospitality group heads into the final quarter of 2026.
The company is highlighting a series of new openings and guest experiences across its Park Hyatt, Alila and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brands. Mexico is at the center of the expansion, with three Park Hyatt properties forming a major part of the group’s latest luxury push.
The development includes Park Hyatt’s first all-inclusive hotel, marking a new direction for the brand as Hyatt broadens its luxury offering in the region.
Among the recent openings is Alila Mayakoba on Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The property opened in February and features 182 guestrooms, suites and villas, adding another high-end destination to Hyatt’s growing portfolio in the country.

Hyatt Focuses on Distinctive Luxury Experiences
Hyatt said its expansion is focused on growing its luxury portfolio while giving travelers more choice across different destinations and hospitality concepts.
Tamara Lohan, global brand leader of luxury at Hyatt, said the company’s new hotels are designed with an emphasis on individuality, thoughtful design and personalized service.
“Our focus is to grow thoughtfully and give travelers more choice while ensuring each hotel has a clear point of view and highly personal service at its center,” Lohan said.
The approach spans several Hyatt luxury brands, allowing the group to build its presence through different property formats while maintaining a focus on distinctive guest experiences.
Hyatt’s latest openings reflect the continued expansion of luxury hospitality across the Americas, with Mexico playing a central role. The addition of new Park Hyatt and Alila properties gives travelers more options while strengthening Hyatt’s position across the region’s high-end hotel market.
