Jaeger-LeCoultre is continuing its autumn tradition with a new edition of the Master Ultra Thin Moon, featuring a luxurious 18-karat rose-gold case and an elegant silver dial. The release follows last November’s limited-edition model, which featured a textured copper dial.
Measuring 36 mm across and just 9.3 mm thick, the new dress watch draws inspiration from the refined proportions of 1950s timepieces. Its polished rose-gold case features a slim bezel, clean lines, and curved lugs that reflect the signature design of the Master Ultra Thin collection.
The silver sunray-brushed dial showcases a date and moonphase display at 6 o’clock, with a midnight-blue, starry background highlighting the moonphase complication. Dauphine hands, finished with both satin brushing and polishing, add further refinement.
Fine Watchmaking Inside and Out
Powering the watch is the in-house Calibre 925, crafted at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Manufacture-Atelier in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux. The 4.9 mm-thick automatic movement offers a 70-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 4 Hz.
Visible through the transparent sapphire-crystal caseback, the movement features Côtes de Genève finishing, blued screws, bevelled bridges, and an open-worked 22-karat pink-gold rotor. The watch also offers water resistance of approximately 160 feet.
A Timeless Finish for the Festive Season
A black alligator-leather strap provides a striking contrast against the warm rose-gold case, while a matching rose-gold buckle completes the look. The easily interchangeable strap adds versatility to this elegant timepiece.
The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon Ref. Q1242521 is available now at the maison’s boutiques for US$23,100—a sophisticated choice for formal occasions and the upcoming holiday season.
