Italian yacht builder Invictus is taking its flagship in a more design-focused direction with the introduction of the ST550 Deep Horizon, a bespoke 55-foot yacht created to complement the natural beauty of its surroundings.
Owned by the Aschenez Group, the shipyard revealed the custom model at the Cannes and Genoa boat shows. Developed by Atelier Invictus in collaboration with designer Fabio Rotella, the Deep Horizon brings a fresh visual identity to the ST550 while preserving the features that made the original model stand out when it debuted in 2025.
Originally designed by Christian Grande, the ST550 is known for its spacious, open-plan layout, distinctive semi-reverse bow and functional approach to onboard living. Its twin Volvo Penta IPS engines deliver a top speed of approximately 35 knots. The Deep Horizon builds on that foundation with a carefully selected combination of premium materials, bespoke finishes, sophisticated lighting and distinctive color schemes.
Inside, custom fabrics and leather upholstery create an understated sense of luxury, complemented by Invictus’s signature design details, including decorative buckles on the backrests. Marble accents further elevate the interiors, with Silk Georgette marble featured in one bathroom and Portoro Gold in the other.
The yacht’s accommodation includes a full-beam owner’s suite at the bow and two guest cabins on the lower deck. An adaptable living and galley area amidships can also be converted into a third guest cabin, offering additional flexibility for owners and their guests.
Large sliding glass doors connect the interior living spaces with the outdoor areas, creating a seamless transition between indoor comfort and open-air relaxation.

The exterior carries its own distinctive personality. Invictus developed a special color combination featuring a cool gray hull contrasted by a pearlescent white deck. Durable marine-grade fabrics, enhanced with original graphic patterns, add another layer of visual interest while remaining practical for life at sea.
At the stern, the cockpit features a dining table that can be transformed into a sunbed, while fold-down bulwarks extend outward to create waterside terraces. Wide side decks provide easy access to the expansive bow lounge, where a U-shaped sofa and generous sun pad offer inviting spaces for soaking up the sun.
According to Luca Brancaleon, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Aschenez Group, the enthusiastic response at Cannes and Genoa reflects growing interest in yachts that combine distinctive design with extensive customization opportunities.
With the ST550 Deep Horizon, Invictus hopes to give owners greater freedom to personalize their vessels through carefully selected materials, finishes and details that reflect their individual tastes and lifestyle on the water.
More than a new variation of an existing flagship, the ST550 Deep Horizon demonstrates Invictus’s commitment to combining contemporary Italian design, functionality and bespoke craftsmanship in the luxury yacht market.
