The 600-foot Amangati is scheduled to sail 19 Caribbean voyages between November 2027 and March 2028, visiting tropical islands, secluded beaches, and some of the region’s most scenic destinations.
Aman is preparing to bring its signature understated luxury to the Caribbean. Its forthcoming cruise yacht, Amangati, will embark on its inaugural Caribbean season from November 2027 through March 2028, offering 19 voyages across the region’s islands and coastal destinations.
The 600-foot vessel is part of Aman at Sea, the maritime venture of the luxury hospitality group behind the Aman resort portfolio. Scheduled to launch in May 2027, Amangati will begin its sailing career with a series of five- to eight-night Mediterranean itineraries before crossing the Atlantic to Saint John’s, Antigua, the starting point for its Caribbean season.
Three Caribbean Routes, 19 Voyages
Running from November 21, 2027, to March 20, 2028, the yacht’s Caribbean program will explore the Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, and Dutch Caribbean. The itineraries are designed to combine well-known island destinations with quieter stretches of coastline and secluded archipelagos.
Travelers can expect everything from the turquoise waters of Anguilla to the dramatic volcanic landscape surrounding the Pitons in Saint Lucia and the uninhabited islands of the Tobago Cays in the Grenadines.
The festive-season sailings will offer their own distinctive experiences. One seven-night voyage from Bridgetown, Barbados, to Saint John’s will include an intimate New Year’s celebration at a private resort in Nevis.
The winter program, scheduled for January 2 through March 20, 2028, will expand westward into the Greater Antilles and introduce calls in destinations including the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and the Grenadines.
Highlights range from the tropical greenery of Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic to the volcanic slopes above Saint-Pierre in Martinique and the coral gardens surrounding Kralendijk in Bonaire.
Bespoke Experiences From Ship to Shore
Each voyage will include curated cultural experiences, while guests seeking a more personalized itinerary can work with a dedicated concierge to arrange private excursions and tailored activities. A suite host will also be assigned to help ensure a seamless onboard experience.
Getting ashore should be equally straightforward. Amangati will feature two helipads and six tenders, giving guests multiple options for transfers between the yacht and its destinations.
Inside Aman’s Floating Luxury Retreat
Amangati is currently under construction at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The nine-deck yacht will accommodate guests in 47 spacious suites ranging from 731 to 3,811 square feet.
The interiors will reflect Aman’s restrained design philosophy, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese ryokans. Minimalist furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and generous private balconies are intended to create a tranquil atmosphere with an emphasis on space, light, and privacy.
Beyond the suites, the yacht will offer an extensive collection of hospitality amenities. Four international restaurants will provide a range of dining options, while a jazz club and cinema will offer entertainment after a day ashore. Guests will also have access to the signature Aman Spa, a beach club, and a substantial swimming pool at the stern.
With its combination of intimate guest accommodations, resort-style facilities, and carefully planned island itineraries, Amangati is being positioned as a more private, yacht-inspired alternative to conventional luxury cruising.
Its first Caribbean season will bring that approach to some of the region’s most coveted destinations, with voyages designed to balance exploration, cultural discovery, and the quiet luxury for which Aman is known.
