PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort is enhancing its après-ski offerings this January with the return of its Taste of Luxury Series, an exclusive culinary program that welcomes internationally acclaimed Michelin-star chefs to Park City for intimate dining events and immersive cooking experiences.
The series continues later this month with Chef Diego Briones, owner and head chef of Z’Som in Vienna, Austria. Chef Briones will headline events on January 23 and 25, sharing his globally inspired approach to modern South American cuisine. With 15 years of experience cooking across Chile, Peru, Canada, Spain, China, the Philippines and France, his work is deeply influenced by his Chilean heritage and international background.
“January is full of truly unique dining experiences with Deer Valley’s Taste of Luxury Series, and we are honored to host Chef Briones,” said Jacob Musyt, Vice President of Food and Beverage at Deer Valley Resort. “He will be sharing his globally inspired recipes, kitchen secrets and culinary vision with our guests. Food lovers will have the rare opportunity to meet Chef Briones, enjoy an elaborate multi-course meal created by him, and learn scratch cooking techniques firsthand from a world-renowned chef.”

Held at Silver Lake Lodge’s Bald Mountain Room, the evening begins with a VIP meet-and-greet reception at 6:30 p.m., featuring canapés and hand-selected wines. A five-course Michelin-inspired dinner follows at 7 p.m. The intimate event includes opportunities to interact with Chef Briones, Deer Valley’s director of beverage and the resort’s executive chef. Guests will prepare dishes from scratch alongside the chef and Deer Valley’s culinary team. The $285 experience includes lunch, wine pairings, a custom apron, recipes and special gifts.

Limited Availability for Chef Enrico Bartolini Events
A small number of tickets are still available for earlier Taste of Luxury Series events featuring Chef Enrico Bartolini, scheduled for January 9–11. Widely regarded as Italy’s most decorated chef, Bartolini has earned a record 14 Michelin stars and operates a prestigious three-star restaurant in Milan — the city’s first three-Michelin-star establishment since 1994.
VIP meet-and-greet dinners on January 9 and 10 will be hosted at Empire Canyon Lodge’s Fireside Dining Room, showcasing four-course menus that highlight Bartolini’s signature blend of tradition and innovation. Tickets are $402 for the VIP reception and dinner, or $342 for dinner only.
Chef Bartolini will also lead a cooking master class on January 11 at 1 p.m., focusing on fresh, handmade pasta techniques. Priced at $390, the class provides an in-depth exploration of Italian culinary traditions guided by one of the country’s most celebrated chefs.
The Taste of Luxury Series continues to position Deer Valley Resort as a premier destination where world-class cuisine meets alpine elegance, offering guests rare access to globally renowned chefs in an intimate mountain setting.
