Inside The Westminster Hotel in the heart of the British capital

By Ruth Perez

Westminster London would like to extend a warm welcome to all of its new guests. In addition to joining Hilton’s Curio Collection, a multi-million-pound renovation has been completed on this hotel to appeal to the modern traveler. The Houses of Parliament, ‘Big Ben,’ Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain, and MI5 are all within a few blocks of this hotel, which is situated in the heart of London’s historic center. In other words, bring on the themes of mystery and anonymity, all while maintaining a playful harmony between traditional and modern elements. This hotel is a must-stay in London because of its attentive staff, enviable location, and a wide range of amenities.

Rooms

The 464 bright and spacious rooms, as well as the suites, have been meticulously designed to ensure that all guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay in the capital. Artwork, floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for an airy feel, and mood lighting are just some of the features in the rooms. There’s a 49-inch TV, a rain shower with high pressure, custom toiletries, and a Nespresso machine for a caffeine kick in the morning. In addition, some of the rooms offer spectacular views of the river and the city from the riverside, and the hotel’s 13th-floor gym is open 24 hours a day.

F&B

Located on the hotel’s first floor is STK Steakhouse, a modern steakhouse-meets-chic lounge. This is the second restaurant in the group to open in London and offers fine dining menus, attentive service, as well as resident DJs, and a high-energy atmosphere to provide the atmosphere for the dining experience. A hotel-owned bowling alley with a private bar is right next door to the restaurant, making it ideal for small gatherings of up to 40 people. Bao Yum, a new dining concept on the ground floor, offers a wide range of ‘bao-centric’ breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as well as salads, soups, sandwiches, and snacks.

Three meeting rooms on the ground floor have been thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of business and social gatherings. Each meeting room can accommodate up to 115 people and features high-tech, ultra HD interactive displays, fast connectivity, and natural light.
